Nicole Sears

Partner & Tax Manager

I’ve had the pleasure of working with small businesses throughout a variety of industries for over 20 years. While I’m well-versed in all financial aspects of small business management, I prefer to focus my attention on the tax side of things. As a tax specialist, I’m constantly reviewing, reading and researching to ensure that I’m always up-to-date with the ever-changing local, state and federal tax laws, rules and guidelines.

Because our firm works with all types of small businesses, I get the opportunity to work with multiple clients in a day and many times, I’m switching from one industry to another. In order to do this efficiently, I lean on my strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.

As one of three partners at Tax Smart Advisors LLC, I focus on the tax preparation and planning side of our clients’ businesses while my partners focus on the other financial areas. I enjoy working directly with our clients as we navigate the intricacies of tax law to find ways that help them to best take advantage of their financial situation, saving them time and money.

In addition to working directly with our clients, I also serve as a mentor to my colleagues and step in to help when I can. I’m a team player that will take on whatever tasks and responsibilities are needed to allow my co-workers to focus on providing the best service to our clients.
